A fun and engaging math activity. This can be used at the beginning of the year to support building a class community through learning about one another, or within the middle of a unit to check in on number sense and comprehension. Blank format provides freedom to teacher or students to create questions that share information specific to the individual with numerical answers that can be solved with equations connecting to the current unit of study. Use sticky notes to cover the blank spaces, write equations on sticky note, hide answer underneath, write question in the bubbles above. Display around classroom to have students solve equations and guess what classmate the questions are about. Students can draw self portraits in the middle circle.
