This little puzzle will be a nice introduction to the meaning of alliteration. The student/doer is asked to match up 19 examples of alliterations, part in a left hand column and part in a right hand column. When the two parts are connected the line segment connecting them will pass through a number and a letter . . . which will enable the student to decode a "secret message".
(This puzzle is intended for use with high school students. I have another matching puzzle intended for middle school students. It is titled Tongue Twisting Alliterations Matching Puzzle. The secret message is the same for both matching puzzles but the alliterations that are to be matched up are a little more difficult in the high school matching puzzle. A three puzzle alliteration puzzle package will have all three alliteration puzzles in it . . . the Namely, An Alliterations Search, the Tongue Twisting Alliterations Matching Puzzle and the Literary Alliterations Matching Puzzle.)
