Understanding vowels is essential in building students’ understanding of how words work. Students need a solid understanding of vowel patterns to be able to decode more and more complex words.
This file folder activity is designed to help build student’s understanding of common vowel patterns for the long o sound. This is a perfect resource to use for moving students from guided to independent practice!
