This excellent cooperative learning project has students analyzing a scenario regarding the concept of Filial Piety in China.

Three different scenarios from Tang and Song Era China are presented in which students have to make a difficult choice between their own lives and an issue with their family.

After reading their scenario as discussion what their decision will be, groups create a poster on their choice and present their scenario to the class.

A rubric for the poster and presentation is included.

This project is an excellent activity after reviewing filial piety through this Ballad of Mulan Poetry and Primary Vs. Secondary Source Analysis Activity!
