What a fun way to practice your speech articulation goals and add math skills to speech therapy by playing a super fun game of fill-a row. This is such an easy print and go product! There are two different game boards. One game board is covered with numbers and the other game board is covered with dice. You choose the best game board type for your students.
To play the game: Give each player a small stack of target squares. You can start off with around 25 squares each. Have each player roll the dice at their turn. They will take the square game piece, produce the target and then cover the number that the dice landed on. The winner will be the first player that fills a row across with square game pieces.
I use colored paper and make several copies of the goal pages that I need. I organize the squares for my crafts by sounds in a divided hobby container. To play the game I just grab my container and pass out the squares. If you choose not to use colored paper for the goal squares then allow your students to color the squares and use those as the game pieces.
Every sound in every position plus blends are included. You have 10 words for every sound in the initial, 10 medial position words and 10 final position words. Each sound page is specific to a sound and a position.
This craft has the largest set of CVC words. It would be perfect for those apraxia goals.
The following articulation sounds in initial, medial and final position are included:
