Are you looking for a fun game to change up your Geometry Unit? Well you found it!
Using classic classroom supplies (pattern blocks and a die) your students are in for loads of fun. Each student needs to fill up the hexagons using pattern blocks. As your students get closer to the end of the game they need to use strategy and their knowledge of shapes to win the game.
you can make a rule once the pattern blocks are on the board you cannot move them again. to make the game easier you can have students adjust as they play. For something in between allow students to move their pieces on the board in exchange for their roll that turn!
This is by far one of my Kindergarteners favorite games that we play in our Geometry Unit (including our STEM centers!)
