This is an adapted book to target the skill of filling in the name of an object when given an object's feature. This skill is pulled from the ABLLS assessment (H17). Students will select answer choices from a field of four picture card icons with text. This adapted book builds language skills, reading fluency, and recognition of common sight words. Great for special education, early intervention, ABA therapy, or speech therapy!
To assemble, print all pages. You will need to print 16 copies of the page with picture icons. Place soft velcro on the blue square and four white squares on each page. Place hard velcro on the back of the picture icons. Place four icons on each page, (one of them containing the correct answer). Bind the book or store in a 3 ring binder!
Sample IEP goal:
After reading a fill-in statement, student will select a picture card containing text rom a field of four choices to fill in the correct object when given a feature with _% accuracy. (ABLLS H17).
