Not sure what to teach in your Digital Media/Film/Video production courses?
Need some new ideas or a weekly plan? LOOK NO FURTHER!
My outline for August through December is a very effective way to teach film/media studies. Especially for newbie teachers who don't know much about the medium. This outline contains 19 weeks of work for 3 LEVELS OF FILM.
Alot of the focus is put on them, and less on you when it comes to knowledge. More of them DOING, which means less work for YOU. The outline is built in a progression...so the early skills of filming/editing is built along the way.
This is only the first semester. I have a Spring Semester which I will be uploading shortly.
Everything is color coordinated. In the left column is the Weekly study and the class.
In the right column are usually some helpful hints and weblinks/videos from youtube that work well with the assignment for introducing the study topic for the week.
Most "assignments/projects" are a week long and a handful are two to three week projects.
i did not include rubrics or additional handouts with this, as it is sold as an outline. But a very good outline at that!
It takes a lot of time to plan out 3 film classes for a year. This was uploaded to ease the pain of the teachers who need a guide for each week and ideas to go with it.
Hopefully this helps you out.
