Product Description
Everyone loves a Disney movie, right? This assignment has students analyze the Disney movie Mulan for evidence of traditional Chinese religious beliefs, Daoist beliefs, and Confucian philosophy. Students are asked to take notes during the course of the movie (which you will have to provide) and then write a short essay answering the question: which religion or religions are most accurately depicted in the film, as well as an assessment about whether the tone is respectful, and whether or not the film is useful for educational purposes.

Intended for use after a study of Confucianism, Daoism, and traditional Chinese beliefs (like yin and yang). Assignment rubrics and differentiation between Honors and regular level assignments are included.
