This is a complete set of questions (88) to provoke and test students' learning when studying the film School of Rock.
I have divided the film into six parts/episodes. Each part is approx. 15 - 20 minutes long. I usually read the questions first (to help students focus), show a section of the movie, and then ask students to write answers to the questions.
Some of the questions are basic fact-finding. Others require students to understand why characters act in a particular way, or say specific things. Many seek opinions from students on action or character, and encourage them to justify those opinions.
To make the handout look interesting and to help students focus, I have included stills from the movie.
The 6 page answer key is included (12 pages in total).
This is quite a challenging activity. If students can answer these questions, they will have an excellent understanding of the movie. If you're working with weak or EAL students, check out my School of Rock Cloze Test
, an activity that I've made to support students who need differentiated learning tasks.
The preview file contains the questions for Part 1 of the film. Even if you don't purchase this product, this will give you a useful task with which to start your study of this fun movie.
This product, and my other resources for School of Rock, can be purchased at a reduced rate as part of a bundle. Check out School of Rock - Active Learning Tasks Bundle
