Film or Movie Assessment Questions - 13 Questions
2 Pages - 13 questions
This sheet can be used with just about any film.
When showing an enrichment film, this 2 page sheet (it shows as 3 pages in the preview, but is 2 in word) will help assess a student's involvement in watching a film, whether in the classroom or independently. It holds the student accountable. There are 13 total questions, dealing with characters, settings, plot, climax-resolution, conflict, and theme. (Some prior teaching might need to occur before utilizing this sheet.) There are also a handful of opinion questions that deal with making connections as well as making a judgment on the film.
If the film takes 3 class periods to show, I explained what I was going to do for an assessment on the first day, before starting the film. I then handed this sheet out on the second day and made it due at the end of the third day. Most times, I collected the sheets from those students who had a tendency to lose paperwork. This is just how I used the sheet.
This sheet is very similar to my Independent or In-Class Book Report Form, listed on TpT.
I also have a Theme in Literature Sheet listed.
