This midterm covers World War I, the rise of totalitarian governments, World War II, the Cold War, and the establishment of new countries in Asia and Africa (Israel, Vietnam, China, India, South Africa).
The corresponding products are: Chapter 25-29 powerpoints, lessons, and cornell notes along with a lesson plan detailing their use. I generally allow students to use their notes on the test, but that is up to you to decide.
On the midterm, there are 15 multiple-choice questions, 21 fill-in-the-blank questions about important people, 35 matching vocabulary questions, and 10 short answer questions. (For the short answer questions, I instruct students to answer 5 of their choice, but you can have them answer them all if you'd prefer.)
