This 24-hour photo challenge was created at the request of students who wanted to spend more time preparing their projects. While most like the quick deadline of my other challenges, which mostly consume one class period, students have said their photography options are limited on the school grounds. They wanted to be able to go home, or to a local park, or other favorite sites, to capture some of these images and better express themselves. This turned out to be one of my favorite projects to grade and share with the classes, because it was definitely a better reflection of each student's personality and interests. I did tweak it before uploading, however, because one of my guys did end up figuring out how to cheat the system and have 6 photos meet all the requirements. He is the reason for my now requiring 18 total photos! Please also note that I have students use their cell phones for these challenges. I don't have enough class cameras for all of them. We only pull those out if a student does not have a phone or if theirs is dead.
