This project is done at the end of a PreCalculus class; it includes two parts: 1. The Portfolio and 2. The Presentation.
The Portfolio is like a study guide that students can use as a reference guide in the next math class. It will also help students review the major topics from the semester before the final exam. Students will choose 7 out of the 10 major units (polar coordinates & complex numbers, quadratic functions, exponential & logarithmic functions, families of functions, etc.) to create their portfolio.
The second part, the Presentation will be about a real life application, interview, or mathematician related to the concepts learned this semester.
This file includes the following:
- Details about the requirements for the project
- Rubric (Categories include: Quality of Topic, Understanding of Mathematical Concepts, Meeting project requirements, and Presentation)
