Final Reviews--they're time consuming to make! What do you want students to get out of it? What do you want them to know for the exam?
When finals come around, my goal is to teach students how to study because it's an important tool to take to college. I write the final and then I write the study guide based on the questions of the final.
For my students' benefit, I count the amount of questions on the astronomy portion and I make a note of it at the beginning of each section of the study guide. For this particular final review--astronomy, minerals, igneous rocks.
