36 questions, 1 per page followed by answer and used as final competition among our 5th grade student. We have had 25 teams with five to six students and have had our elimination rounds. We now have 6 teams that will be in the final round as we all come together and watch, learn, and root our teams on. Teams are mixed among the 6 fifth grade classes. One question per page so that it can be projected up on the large screen for all to see in the gym. Each team has a set of cards (A/F, B/G, C/H, D/J) and after the question has been read to the teams, students discuss and choose an answer. One designated child from each team stands holding their answer to their chest. When they are told to show their answer they flip the card over. We usually have one winning team or a few ties, but in the end all are rewarded for their hard work and effort in preparing for the Science STAAR test. We usually only do 25 questions for the final round, although more are included.
