This is a final (or could be simply used as a writing prompt for higher level Spanish students)
Each question has an "Exc" "Mas" and "NY" rubric (exceeds, mastery, and not yet) for what students are expected to meet in order to receive that grade. They are question specific.
Each question has 2 pages of lined paper to use for writing.
I have set it up where the students may either answer the questions in Spanish in 2 paragraphs, or in English in 5 paragraphs. This is to elicit a Spanish response because students would rather write less, but it also gives those students who do not yet feel they have mastered the language a chance to demonstrate their knowledge of the content thoroughly.
The history of Spain in terms of literature and culture from 1500-1900s
The 4 major colonies I study with them (Cuba, Argentina, Spain, and Mexico) and their similarities and Differences (PLEASE REFER TO MY MATERIAL FOR THAT TOPIC)
The differences between the Preterite and Imperfect
Believe in the ease of learning the Spanish langauge
How a theme from the year will be used in College and real life
I have not included an answer key because answers will vary based on the specific material you teach over the year
