Financial Literacy - Balancing a Budget: An Adding and Subtracting Whole Numbers activity! This is a great project based learning idea!

This can be printed and used as a hands-on activity. There is also a DIGITAL version that can be used on Google Drive (Slides)!

This financial literacy activity is great for 3rd - 5th graders as an enrichment or extension activity for addition and subtraction of whole numbers. Students will be allotted a certain "income", which they will spend on a home, car, and additional living expenses. Students will be engaged and excited about this activity!

This is perfect for the Financial Literacy TEKS (balancing a budget & fixed/variable expenses).

** All documents come in color and black/white versions.
