Most of the states have abandoned NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND and are implementing the GROWTH MODEL which requires teachers to demonstrate students' growth in preparing for college or preparing for work. I know this curriculum documents growth for work preparation! I used it for 20 years, and I have documented that 96% of the students demonstrated growth in learning about how to prepare for and succeed in a job.
All of the lessons are individualized and competency-based.
Each lesson has a number in the top right hand corner that shows the reading level (varies from 1 to 5th grade usually).
There is a pre/post test to demonstrate growth (GREAT FOR DATA COLLECTING FOR USE IN THE GROWTH MODEL.)
There is a pre/post test for each unit to demonstrate growth (GREAT FOR DATA COLLECTING FOR USE IN THE GROWTH MODEL.)
Students can work in the curricula individually (there is a checklist to keep track of lessons done) or it can be used as material to present to the class as a whole. (YOUR CHOICE)
