Description

These percent proportion stations are perfect for your middle school math students to set up and solve proportions to find the percent, part, and whole. Students will do a variety of activities that include: setting up, solving, and creating percent, part, whole problems using proportions.

The following math stations are included:

  • Percent Word Problems: Given word problems to find the percent, part or whole, students will solve the problem by setting up and solving proportions.
  • Percent Practice: Students will practice setting up and solve proportions to find the percent, part, or whole.
  • Creating Percent Word Problems: Given a percent proportion, students will create percent word problems that can be solved using the given proportion.
  • Matching Puzzle: A coloring and matching activity where students match a percent, part, or whole problem, a proportion, and the solution.
  • Letter Writing: Students write a letter to their friend who missed class about everything they learned about setting up percent proportions.

These would also be great to use as homework, group work or assessments.
