Find, Say, and Punch Cards have been a big hit in my classroom! We will feature a number of the day by counting to the number, moving to the number, and watching YouTube videos about the number. Once my kids have a good handle on the number, they complete their task card!
First, students write the multiples of a number. Teaching the multiples has proven to be very effective in my classroom, as even if the kids are not sure of an answer they are starting to recognize when they have a wrong answer. Students have been associating certain numbers through multiples. It's amazing!
After writing the multiples, find them on the card and use the hole punch. They LOVE it. Once they punch their card they can set it on top of the answer key to see if they answered correctly. If they did, they should count 20 green circles or punches.
