This is a great get-to-know-you activity for Back to School events, first day of school lessons, or for meeting a new group. This game encourages students to talk with each other, find out more about their classmates, and learn names.
To play, students will each need a copy of this printable. They should use social skills to ask questions of classmates to fill in the boxes on their printable. For example, for "Find someone who has been to another state," they would find a classmate who has been to another state, write their name in the box, and then add what state they have been to and enjoyed. Students should continue talking and moving until all of their boxes are filled.
To add more to this activity, I like to go through each answer on the page. When something applies to a student, I ask them to raise their hand or give a thumbs up - what a fun, non-threatening way to make connections and learn about each other!
