A fun back to school activity for the first week of school for middle school science students!
There's lots of forms of the "Find Someone Who" game out there, but this one I made especially for my 8th graders in science class. My 7th grade science students can also complete this, but it might be a little more challenging, there may still be empty spots at the end.
I put up a timer on my board and give each student a copy of the Find Someone Who Sheet. They will get 8-10 minutes to interview students around the room to see if they can answer the science questions on the sheet. They cannot use the same person twice. Once they find someone who can answer the question verbally, they have the student initial their sheet.
If a student announces that, "I've finished!" they can bring their sheet up to you and you can "approve" their answers. If they have something wrong, I leave that box unchecked. The first one finished with all complete, or the student with the most correct at the end of 8-10 minutes can win a prize if you so choose.
