Find Someone Who: Solving Systems of Equations Using Substitution & Elimination
"Find Someone Who" is an engaging activity that requires students to get out of their seats and move around the room! Students must find 10 different peers in the classroom that can solve a system of equations. Each peer must sign their name in the box of the problem they solve. When the worksheet is completed, it is checked by the teacher. If any problem is incorrect, it is returned to the person who completed the problem to correct.
This document contains 2 Find Someone Who activities:
1. Solving systems using substitution: Problems increase in difficulty and all systems have a solution.
2. Solving systems using elimination: systems include problems that require no multiplication, problems that require multiplication in one equation, and problems that require multiplication in both equations. No solution and infinitely many solutions both included.
