This is a find someone who structure (Kagan) that I made a worksheet for. I find that my students learn the process of checking their work when they have their classmates answer the questions and then they have to check their work before turning in. They also like being up and out of their seats. :)
Make sure you lay a good foundation when telling them the rules and what you expect. They walk around with their hand up and when they find a partner they slap hands and begin to work. They switch papers and see if they can answer a problem on their paper. After they do they write their intials. Once they have all answers they go back to their seat and check their partners work. Then they become experts and people can go to them at their desks and ask for help.
