Option 1: The teacher will create a math problem with an answer in the space provided on the left hand side. The teacher will purposefully make sure that the answer is incorrect. The students work individually to figure out what the teacher did wrong and correct the teachers mistake.
Option 2: The teacher passes out the worksheet to each student. Student will create a problem and will purposefully get a wrong answer. Have students partner together and solve each others mistakes.
Option 3: Give each table one copy. Tell the students they must create a problem with an incorrect answer that relates to today's objective. Have students work in teams to create the problem with an incorrect answer. Have teams trade papers and find the error.
