What better way for students to learn than to find errors themselves?
In this activity, students will 1) identify the error that a "student" made by highlighting it, 2) explain the error in 1-2 sentences, and 3) re-do the problem correctly.
This activity is intended to be used as an ongoing center, although it could also be an enrichment activity, bell work, morning work, homework, etc.
This set includes a problem on each of the following:
-Place Value (Standard Form to Word Form)
-Comparing and Ordering Whole Numbers
-Exponents and Place Value (Writing whole numbers in expanded form using exponents)
-Decimal Place Value (Writing a decimal in word form)
-Multiplying by Powers of 10
-Dividing by Powers of 10
-Comparing and Ordering Decimals
