Included in the file you will find worksheets with the following sets of rhythms:
ta and ta-ti (quarter and eighth notes)
ta, ta-ti, and rest
ta, ta-ti, rest, and half note (ta-a)
ta, ta-ti, rest, ta-a, and sixteenth notes (takatiki)
The teacher performs one of the patterns on the paper, either by speaking the rhythms or performing them on an instrument. They instruct the students to find that pattern and color it a specific color. Students identify the pattern and color the coin.
Big props and thanks for the adorable border goes to Krista Walden. Check out her store here: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Krista-Wallden
The rhythms were created using MusicEd font. It is the most valuable digital item I have purchased. Absolutely worth the cost! You can find it at www.musicteachertools.com
