My second grade students often need more practice with problem solving. I especially want them to learn to be critical thinkers. I designed these pages to challenge them and help them develop perseverance in solving problems.
There are 20 pages with a variety of mistakes. Some mistakes are computational errors. Others are process errors. Some problems have extra information that is not needed to solve the problem. Each of the pages is intended to get the students thinking. There is space at the bottom of each page for the students to solve and correct the mistakes as well as explain their thinking.
These pages could be printed and used for whole class work on a projector or Smart Board, individual work, partner work, or laminated and used in a center.
You could also print pages and answers and laminate them. Then bind them together in a book for fast finishers to use. There are many possibilities!
Thank you for purchasing!
