Students will have two spinners and the recording sheet. One spinner has 10 different multi-digit numbers, and the other has 4 different place values (ones, tens, hundreds and thousands). Students will spin for a number and for a place value to determine the value of the digit in the place value. For instance, the student spun 8,320 and hundreds, so the value of the 3 is 300. All of the information will be recorded on "Finding the Value of Digits."
