This Mix-Up is a great way for students to practice finding distance of a line segment given two points.
This Mix-Up! activity can be done individually or in pairs. You could also use it as a station in one of your station class activities.
This Mix-Up! is a self-checking, cut-n-paste activity.
Students start by cutting all the strips apart, glue the start strip to the bottom of their answer sheet, and solve the problem on the first strip. Their answer will guide them to the next strip, which they will glue to their answer sheet and solve the problem. This process repeats itself until the student has reached the top of the sheet where it states, “You Made It!”
Your purchase includes 3 different Mix-Up sets, a student answer sheet to glue their strips, and all 3 answer keys!
Students love to get out the scissors and glue in math class!
