This product includes 16 problems for finding an equation given two points. This is a match up activity. It works well with students who are learning this for the first time because there is an answer. If they can't find the equation they got, they must have done it wrong. I usually only cut out the equations and have them stack them on top of the problems. This leaves less mess.
It also includes a WS for the student to fill out which has spaces for them to write the problem (the two points), room for them to work it out, a space to write the equation, and a blank graph for them to graph the line.
I have done this with my 9th graders who failed 8th grade math. They like this activity because they don't feel like they are doing a worksheet. I usually let them work in pairs which also is nice.
It also includes an answer key.
