I always find that my Geometry students need significant review of the slope-intercept form of a line (y = mx + b), and I also like for them to do problem-solving with the concept.
This worksheet is a review for my Geometry students. It holds their hands through cases in which you're given a slope and a point, or two points, and so on. It includes parallel, perpendicular, horizontal, and vertical lines, and uses geometric notation.
I use this activity within cooperative groups, and I circulate to make sure they are getting the purpose of the questions.
The file includes spiral review problems.
For this worksheet, I expect students to show their work on a separate sheet of paper.
