"Finding hope"is a suicide prevention poster that can be printed and displayed or can be used to open a classroom presentation.
The poster message encourages students to talk to their counselor or call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (the phone number is listed). The poem recognizes that words can hurt (from bullying or any other type of conflict). Then it reveals that holding onto the words can cause pain and stops you from moving forward. Print the poster and post throughout your school... encourage them to reach out and find hope. Visit www.pathway-pals.com for more counselor related educational resources.
Note: Photo was taken at Silver Beach on Lake Michigan. I was so blessed to be able to find the beautiful butterfly enjoying the beach too. It took about an hour to catch him in flight!
