If you haven’t already heard, “Brain Games” is a popular TV show recorded by National Geographic that demonstrates how the brain processes information.
In Part 3 of this resource, students will watch brief video clips from “Brain Games” and will be challenged to find the Main Idea. Not only that! They’ll have to back themselves up with two supporting details per video clip. TEN hand-selected clips are included in Part 3. An answer key, link to each video, and a rubric are included.
Find Part 1 and 2 (sold separately and together) in my store and read some reviews on my products.
One teacher review on Part 1 and 2 of Brain Games:
"I LOVE this resource because it is an easy way to introduce and practice main idea/supporting details without the labor of getting through a text. Students enjoy watching these clips and feel confident determining main idea and supporting details. I have used this with high schools students (9-12), but I think this will be a hit with my current 7th graders!"
