This activity applies the skill of graphing inequalities on a number line.
Students, once separated into three differentiated detective groups, will solve a part of Mr. X's crime. By eliminating numbers on the number line using posted "clues" (problems to solve) around the room, they will make this mystery "case closed".
Once groups have solved the crime, they can confirm their answer by checking the "Confidential" file.
