These task cards include irregular polygons that have missing sides. Students need to solve for the missing side, and then find the perimeter.
These task cards can be used as scoot, placed around the room for practice, or however you feel they can be used in your room. When I used these in my classroom, I place them around the room. Sometimes they work with a partner to help them, and other times they work independently.
**Indiana Standard: 3.M.7: Find perimeters of polygons given the side lengths or by finding an unknown side length.
**Common Core Standard: 3.MD.D.8: Solve real world and mathematical problems involving perimeters of polygons, including finding the perimeter given the side lengths, finding an unknown side length, and exhibiting rectangles with the same perimeter and different areas or with the same area and different perimeters.
