Students are given a graph, the must identify the vertex, and x-intercepts. They use this information to find the quadratic equations (in all three formats) for the graph. Students can make posters or glue into their interactive student notebooks.
I use this package as an alternate formative assessment for understanding different forms of quadratic equations. It can be easily modified to assess or review different quadratic topics.
I have included 18 graphs of varying difficulty levels. (given 2 sizes)
9 Basic Level Graphs (a=1 or -1)
9 Advanced Level Graphs (a= ½ , 2 , 3, -1/2, -2, -3)
Students can use the graphs to make wanted signs. Included a wanted poster background. Student pick a crime and reward. The aliases are the equations of the parabola.
