This activity allows students to get to know each other better, and practice using the slope formula! Students are given a point to start with. They then pair with another student and use the slope formula and their two points to calculate the slope between those two points. They then fine a new partner and repeat the same process. The slopes could also end up being zero slope, or undefined slope. A fun activity that gets the kids up and moving and practicing the slope formula.
Print the first page for all students. The last two pages are suggested points you could cut up and distribute to students. I made a class set and printed them on card stock to reuse for each period.
