This product is aligned with ccss.7.G.A.3, B.4 and B.6 material, focusing on finding the surface area of rectangular and triangular pyramids when given the length and width of the base and the slant hight of the pyramid. Students will get practice using whole numbers, decimals AND fractions when finding the surface area. I have included 3 worksheets, one using whole numbers, one using decimals and one using fractions. Each worksheet has an answer key. There is also a blank page with no numbers for you to add your own if you get creative. In addition to 7th grade geometry, this product is also useful for advanced 6th grade geometry and review in 6th grade through 8th grade geometry. This activity has 10 pages including cover, teacher notes, 4 student sheets, 3 answer key sheets and thanks/credits page. All pages can be printed in color OR use the grayscale/black and white selection on your printing preferences page to print without color.
