This product is aligned with ccss.7.G.A.3 and B.6 material, focusing on finding the surface area of a rectangular prism when given the length and width of the base and height of the prism. Students will get practice using whole numbers, decimals AND fractions when finding the surface area. When all the measurements are computed students will be able to answer the riddle at the bottom of the page. In addition to 7th grade geometry, this product is also useful for advanced 6th grade geometry and review in 6th grade through 8th grade geometry. This riddle activity has 7 pages including cover, teacher notes, 2 student sheets, 2 answer key sheets and thanks/credits page.
