*NOTE- Thumbnail shows sample teacher job description on second page but it is by itself on the 3rd page. Images are also not on top of text. Download will look perfectly fine.
This is a great activity for a career education/business course in which you are teaching a unit related to finding and applying for jobs. In this activity students will be using a provided made-up scenario to create their own job description.
The scenario provided is as follows:
Adam Parker has just opened up a new seafood restaurant called The Lobster Shack. He is currently in the hiring process and is looking for wait staff, hosts/hostesses, kitchen help, bussers, dishwashers, bartenders, management, etc. As this could be an overwhelming process he is asking for your help. Adam would like for you to create a help wanted ad/job description he can post on Monster.com for wait staff.
The handout for the activity describes the information that should be included in the job description and some tips on what could be included. A teacher sample for the job description is included.
