This is a 32 slide PowerPoint that begins by defining symmetry and a line of symmetry. It then looks at examples from nature, geometric shapes, and capital letters. It allows for student interaction by asking them to find how many lines of symmetry they can find in a given picture and then shows the answer. On the last slide there is an extension activity. You may also want to purchase my worksheet "Symmetry and Cursive Bugs" for an assessment tool.
