Give your students practice finding the greatest common factor of two numbers with these Christmas themed cootie catchers. This file contains two versions to provide a wider variety of problems for students to solve. The graphics are the same, but the problems are different. Give each child a cootie catcher. Allow time for coloring, cutting, and folding. When students are ready, have them simply quiz each other, or use the provided recording sheet. I like to have students get five problems-one each from five different students and record their answers. The answers are on the cootie catchers so that students can give immediate feedback on correct (or incorrect) answers. This activity works well as a math center or as a whole group activity. I hope your students have fun with this!
