Description

Finding the Mean Task Cards has children adding a set of 3 or 5 numbers and finding the average of the numbers given. There are 24 task cards that say to find the mean. I included the same exact 24 cards again that say find the average. This is so you can differentiate for those who do not what the word mean means. The answer key shows the remainder for answers that don't equal a whole number. If you need the answer key done a different way email me at tigermagic@bellsouth.net This is the way a 3rd grade private school student is doing it. Please give me the chance to create the answer key how you need it before giving me a bad rating.

It is perfect for math centers, to play the game "Scoot", or other cooperative group activities like "Quiz, Quiz Trade" and "Numbered Heads Together". They can also be used for problem of the day, early finishers, homework, whole group review, etc. There are 24 task cards in black and white only.
