Description
This set is perfect for early learners trying to master their lowercase letters. There is one worksheet for every letter of the alphabet and FOUR (or more!) ways to use each one!
By using a variety of methods to form letters, kids build stronger connections in their brains leading to greater understanding and success in letter formation.
Ideas include:
1. Cut the worksheets in half along the center black line. Mount the left side of the worksheet on foam or cork board and use push pins to form the letter. No foam or cork? Use a cardboard box!
2. Using the right side of the worksheet, form the letters by coloring in the circles. Then color in the picture that goes along with it!
3. Place small objects such as pony beads on the circles to form the letters. For an added challenge, pick up the beads with tweezers!
4. Dip a Q-tip into paint and make a dot in the center of the circles to form the letters.
Whichever way you choose to form the letters, try lying on your belly to complete the activity. Follow up by writing the letter just created 10 times on a piece of paper, or write 5 words that begin with the letter.
