Fine Motor Skills Pre-Handwriting Practice
These worksheets are great for improving pre-handwriting or fine motor skills for young students and students identified with autism or intellectual disabilities.
This writing packet allows students to practice line strokes, slanted lines, circles, and curves before introducing them to the alphabet! You can sequence lessons so that after your students have learned a particular stroke, the letters that utilize that stroke could be taught. Although there are many pre-handwriting sheets on the market, this one was made to provide structured, concise activities without a lot of distractions. As a special education teacher, I’ve noticed that although worksheets were cute, my students became over stimulated or fixated on the designs more than the content. Work that typically my students would be able to do independently, ended up requiring more prompting and redirection to complete.
15 handwriting pages included.
The tracing practice pages can be used for SPED, preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten, RTI, and homework.
