Fine Motor Warm-ups for Eye Hand Coordination/Pencil Control - Farm Theme!
By Jan McCleskey, MA, OTR - The Fine Motor Store
Quick printable sheets that can be cut out quickly into fine motor activities. Perfect for elementary students K - 5th grade.
This bundle contains 91 pages of fun activities!
The first set is training sheets for how to hold a pencil.
The second set is small coloring patterns, to teach a student to change direction when coloring. Many students just color in up and down strokes, or move a pencil with their wrists or arms. These activities have arrows to show which direction to move the pencil. It is suggested that the strips be taped to a table so that a student does not move the paper around to change direction - rather move the PENCIL around!
The third set of activities is for tracing patterns. The students will work to move the pencil with their fingers, while staying on the line.
The fourth set of activities is coloring sheets. One set is simple, but in teenage themes. This would be for students with less motor control. The other set is more advanced - similar to the new fad of adult coloring sheets that are on the market, yet less time consuming and simpler. The student will take colored pencils or crayons to color the pictures with at least 6 different colors. The small patterns will make the coloring sheet interesting, and also encourage more refined coloring. Perfect for any downtime or breaks.
Use with the training sheets to teach grasp on a pencil.
Perfect for teachers, occupational therapists, parents, home practice!
