Help your students learn their notes and fingerings with this FREE orchestra resource. So many children only know their notes by the finger number, not the name or sound. Help your students get a comprehensive knowledge of their instrument fingerboard. First, teach the music alphabet. Then fill out the chart one string at a time. I like to start with the A string then ask students, "What letter comes after A?" They eagerly respond with "B!" We continue to complete the finger chart together, including the strings they have yet to learn because I think it is important to drill the music alphabet and it's a great preview of what's to come.
