Finish the Sentence Writing Center Activity

This writing center activity is the perfect way to help beginning writers learn to structure a sentence, recognize and write sight words, and draw a picture that matches their writing. This activity goes perfectly with my Themed Writing Center for the Year, and the visual instructions included mention the picture vocabulary cards included in these writing centers. You could also use this with visual vocabulary cards you have handy!

Students will trace the sentence, finish the sentence, and draw a picture to match the sentence. This activity provides scaffolding for beginning writers and is seemingly so simple, but it requires them to use SO many reading and writing skills!
